Studio Manager - Dallas
Role Overview
The Dallas Studio Manager is SotoMethod's founding hire in Texas — the person responsible for building, running, and growing our first market outside of New York. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role that requires someone who can operate independently, lead a team, and represent the brand with the same standard we've built in NYC.
This person will be the face of SotoMethod in Dallas: running day-to-day studio operations, developing a strong local community, and driving the business metrics that matter. We're looking for someone with enough range to grow with us — and ideally, into expanded leadership as the market scales.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations & Team Leadership
- Own the full day-to-day operations of the Dallas studio, including managing opening and closing procedures, scheduling, inventory, and supply management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all facilities management - including vendor relationships, maintenance coordination, and building management - ensuring issues are resolved promptly and the space is always operating at the highest standard.
- Manage the landlord relationship and serve as the on-site escalation point for any building or facilities-related matters.
- Hire, onboard, train, and manage front desk staff and studio teams, setting a high bar for accountability and culture from day one.
- Ensure consistent execution of SotoMethod's brand standards and member experience across every touchpoint.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership as the company’s on-site leader in Dallas; the primary decision-maker for the studio, a trusted resource for the team, and a recognized presence within the member community.
Member Experience & Community Building
- Deliver a hospitality-driven, premium member experience and build genuine, lasting relationships with members.
- Drive membership growth, conversions, renewals, and retail performance through exceptional service and brand knowledge.
- Lead local marketing execution: partnerships, brand activations, pop-ups, and community events that build SotoMethod's presence in Dallas.
- Identify and pursue local business, brand, and influencer relationships that expand our reach and deepen our community roots.
Business Operations & Performance
- Own studio KPIs including revenue, attendance, retention, labor, and expenses. Track performance and proactively flagging risks and opportunities.
- Support budget management, vendor coordination, invoicing, and expense reconciliation.
- Partner with leadership on forecasting, goal-setting, and operational rollouts.
- Lead studio-level projects (class launches, facility updates, team initiatives) and ensure they're executed on time and on brand.
Qualifications
- 3-6+ years of experience in studio management, hospitality, or premium retail operations, with direct P&L or KPI ownership strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams, build culture, and deliver a consistently excellent customer experience.
- Entrepreneurial instincts: comfortable operating with autonomy, figuring things out, and taking ownership in a market without an established local infrastructure.
- Business savvy with an eye for partnerships, community-building, and local brand development.
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable; thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- Strong communicator with a hospitality-forward mindset and genuine enthusiasm for the SotoMethod brand and mission.
- Comfortable with scheduling platforms, CRMs, and modern studio operations tools.
- Flexible schedule required, including some evenings and weekends.
