Social Media and Content Lead
Role Overview
SotoMethod is seeking a Content Lead to own and elevate the brand’s visual identity, social presence, and content output - end to end.
We’re looking for someone who thinks in brand, moves quickly, and instinctively knows what’s worth capturing and how to turn it into content that lands. You’ll work closely with our growth, studio, and operations teams, but the creative output, execution, and standard will be yours to drive.
The right person for this role understands structure, pacing, storytelling, and what actually performs. They know how to move quickly without sacrificing quality and can operate independently while collaborating closely with the broader Soto team across growth, studio, partnerships, and operations.
We’re looking for someone who can help shape how the brand looks, feels, and evolves - someone who sees content as both creative and strategic, and understands the power of consistency, systems, and strong execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Content Strategy & Execution
- Own what goes out, when, and why, with a strong understanding of platform nuance and performance
- Identify opportunities proactively and help shape how the brand continues to evolve across social and creative
- Content Capture & Production
- Capture content on-site at events, shoots, launches, partnerships, and real-time brand moments
- Know what’s worth capturing and how to turn it around quickly
- Execute 20+ posts/month across Reels, Stories, static, and campaign assets
- Copy & Creative Development
- Write clear, elevated, performance-minded captions and copy in the Soto voice
- Develop visual assets in partnership with the growth team to support launches, campaigns, partnerships, and paid creative
- Edit and package content with a strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, and what performs
- Shoot & Talent Management
- Brief, direct, and execute shoot sessions when needed
- Coordinate talent and support production logistics across content days and campaigns
- Real-Time Brand Support
- Support real-time content needs across studio moments, partnerships, launches, and events
- Operate quickly and collaboratively across growth, studio, partnerships, and operations teams
Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in content creation, with a strong focus on short-form video
- You think through content the way other people text
- Strong creative instincts, with the ability to capture, edit, and package content that performs
- Experience in fast paced execution-focused environments
- Pulse on the evolving algorithm and ability to shift strategy based on performance
- Someone who sees content as both creative and strategic - not simply a checklist to execute
Nice to Have:
- Design capabilities (Figma, Canva, Adobe)
- Experience with fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands
- Understanding of paid media creative
- Experience supporting events, partnerships, or influencer activations
Engagement Structure:
- We’re looking for someone who is eager to take ownership, bring Soto’s social voice to life, and expand their scope beyond social and content into additional areas of the business (eg. events)
